U.S. Government: Mandatory Drug Education

Make drug education a national class.

Why is this important?

In the "2010 National Survey on Drug Use" more than 22 million Americans have used an illegal drug. Everyday families are torn apart due to drugs. My family was affected by drugs when my Aunt decided to get into Methamphetamines. She lost both of her sons for some time because of drugs and is still affected by drugs. My one cousin was about 6 when she was taken to jail leaving him with his father then his grandma then his aunt constantly changing homes. My other cousin was only 2 when it happened and lived with his grandma until we came all the way across the country to take him into our home and my parents became his guardians. Both were devastated and didn't know what was going on. My aunt went to rehab, but relapsed and then went back to jail. It's been 4 years now She is currently clean, but in rehab. She claims that she knew Meth wasn't good, but didn't know the full effects and problems meth causes. We need to make drug education mandatory for all of the nation.
