U.S. House: Recognize the Kurdish Genocide in Iraq
On November 19th, 2013, House Resolution 422 was proposed to Congress to recognize the genocide against the Kurds in which "almost 200,000 Kurds perished or disappeared, families were torn apart, and 4,500 villages were destroyed between 1976 and 1988." The United States must stand in solidarity with these people and stand-up against the mass extermination of people all over the world. Tell the United States House of Representatives that this resolution must pass as soon as possible!
Why is this important?
I'm am just a young man who believes that the world must stand as one against the oppression and extermination against people all over the world. Recognizing these acts as exactly what they are, genocide, is a vital first step in ending them once and for all.
