Why is this important?
We have been demanding reform on student loans, and on March 8, Rep Hansen Clarke (D-MI) introduced The Student Loan Forgiveness Act of 2012 (H.R. 4170). This is the government's chance to prove they care about financial fairness in higher education. We are calling on our U.S. Representatives to show their support and push the bill beyond committee.
