Why is this important?
USAA, an insurance and investment company comprised of former and current veterans and their dependants or former dependants, is a member of ALEC. ALEC has sponsored legislation that, if passed, will result in the privatization of the USPS. The Postal Service is the largest civilian employer of veterans.
