USD 259 - PLEASE KEEP AMY CHAMPLIN AS PRINCIPAL OF ROBINSON MIDDLE SCHOOL

We the Parents and families of Robinson Middle School, District 259 would like to petition that Mrs. Amy Champlin not be moved from Robinson Middle School, especially at a time when our students are already going through so much due to COVID-19.
This school year has put our children into unprecedented and difficult times they have had no normalcy, the only thing that is keeping most of them going is potentially returning to their somewhat normal life at their school after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mrs. Champlin knows the school and our children and has successfully run 2 schools in the same building for 9 years, and that is what our children need is the stability of a strong leader who knows them and who they know and trust. At this delicate time going back to a brand-new Principal will not be a good idea for their morale and well being.
They need to return to an administrator they trust and love and who knows them and can make them feel welcome.
We request that you retract the orders to move Mrs. Champlin from Robinson, we believe that losing Mrs. Champlin will truly hurt our children, our school and our Robinson Community.
