Wolverines in the U.S. face unprecedented threats from recreational trapping and loss of snowpack due to climate change. Please follow the advice of scientists and the courts and protect them under the Endangered Species Act.
Why is this important?
As few as 250 wolverines remain in the wild. This species relies on dense spring snowpack during denning season, but due to climate change, this snow is late or non-existent. USFWS has resisted protecting them to date, but recent litigation is requiring them to go back to the drawing board. Please tell Director Dan Ashe to protect wolverines under the Endangered Species Act.
