V.A. Stop The Abuse of Veterans

Our Nations Veterans are suffering due to the continued violations of Due Process of Law, failures of Regional offices to expedite or consider, and excess Board Of Veterans Appeals Remands for claims that should not be denied based on overwelming evidence in favor of veterans disabilities based on service to the United States. The OIG has sited several Regional Offices for violations of veterans rights and illegal actions with little or no accountability. As a direct result our Nations veterans and families are suffering through several years of the claims process, BVA Remands and appeals. The process can take 5, 10, 15 years. This is Totally Unacceptable and must be stopped immediatly. Many veterans have given up on the claims process and the system that is supposed to help them, they become homeless, over one quarter of the Homeless are veterans and veteran families. Many are facing Foreclosure due to the claims process and suicide among veterans is at alarming numbers. This is due to well documented negligence with in the Department Of Veterans Affairs and the Regional Offices. We demand that the claims process be expedited for backlogged claims and appeals based on their merit and evidence including military and civilian medical reports with in a timely manner and that veterans be given Medical and mental health evaluations with in timely manner as needed. We also Demand Accountability for Violations of veterans rights with the claims process and violations of Due Process of Law on the part of the VA and Regional Offices.

Why is this important?

Our Nations veterans are suffering and losing everything due to the illegal actions of the Department of Veterans Affairs with the claims process. Should they suffer all because they served for our Freedoms ? Washington feds the American public lies about how much is being done when if fact veterans are becoming homeless and committing suicide at alarming numbers.
