Verizon: Enough of the overpriced data fees!
Stop charging your customers expensive data fees for each smartphone on their plan. Bring back your unlimited data package for all phones on a plan to share.
Why is this important?
In 2011 Verizon reported earnings that more than tripled as taxes decreased and the carrier attracted new customers after introducing Apple Inc.’s iPhone. Their net income rose to $1.44 billion. Not only is this huge profit increase a result of the iphone's popularity but it is also due to the ridiculously high fees for data plans required to use it as well as other smart phones. People want the service so they pay it as they feel they have no choice. We are calling for people to stand up for their right to have and use a smartphone without having to pay astronomical amounts of money. A single data package fee for all phones on one plan to have unlimited data access is not too much to ask.
