Verizon: Hold Third Party Sales Reps Accountable
Stop third party companies from swindling customers into signing up for Verizon services under false pretenses.
Why is this important?
Verizon hires companies to come door to door and sell their packages. Our family was told that we could get a free 30-day-trial of Verizon Fios TV and internet service. We signed up for it, tried it out, and then canceled and returned our equipment in less than thirty days. Turns out we were deceived by the representative. No such deal exists and we were charged $137.29 for a service that we never would have signed up for if we weren't assured it would be free if we canceled within 30 days.
I want Verizon to hold its third party sales representatives accountable so that they cannot use deceptive practices to swindle customers.
