Congress needs to amend Title 38 U.S.C., to allow veterans to have legal representation for appeals for service connected compensation. Time limits and performance standards need to be added to reduce the backlog of claims pending.
Why is this important?
During the Reagan Administration means tests were added, so that any veteran could obtain assistance through the VA Medical System. Myself, my son, and many other veterans are being denied admission to VA Psychological System when suffering from severe PTSD
