These officials named above are using their good offices to suppress those who are not politically connected. They should stop intimidating teachers for political reasons. They use their positions to leverage their vendetta against teachers who are conscientiously doing their jobs.
They have a hearing whose verdict is predetermined by the mayor and his principal cohorts. They should be stopped before they psychologically pass death sentences on innocent teachers, specifically me.
Why is this important?
This petition is about New York city teachers that Mayor Bloomburg has been victimizing because the teachers did not support him in his third coming. The mayor gave sweeping mandate to high school principals to rate the experienced teachers unsatisfactory so they can be branded incompetent. In so doing, the DOE can terminate these categories of teachers' employment.
