Victims of sexual assault unite!

Victims of sexual assault should be allowed to bring legal action against their victimizers up to the age of 50.

Why is this important?

I was sexually assaulted by three different people when I was young and I am now 46 years of age. I have been reading about other victims stories in the Daily News but Sen. Flanagan, the new Assembly Speaker, and Gov. Cuomo have failed to enact the anti-predator Child Safety Law, which lets victims prosecute their assaulters up to age 50. Orthodox Jews and the Catholic Church are against the legislation, which would favor the survivors/victims in adding further insult to injury.
