'Victims of the VA Claims Backlog - Veterans'
As a disabled Vietnam Veteran, who has been receiving VA benefits, I have suffered a 7-year battle with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; I know what the veterans who are returning now really feel!
The VA backlog has caused many a veteran to commit suicide! The claims, and appeal, process has become too cumbersome for VA employees! They are only concerned about speed, not accuracy!
I, myself, am attempting to correct a past, (1995), mistake by the VA claims process, with a 'CUE' claim/appeal which I had to re-submit, due to a more current, (2010), mistake by my local VA Regional Office.
