We urge you to vote for additional funding for Everglades Restoration when you meet August 15. Without new attention to sea level rise, , additional climate change rainfall pressures and saltwater intrusion our ability to safeguard our Everglades and local populations will be at risk
Why is this important?
Unless we act now to enhance the Regional Climate Action Plan specifics to protect the Everglades from saltwater intrusion, increased pollutant problems and climate change rainfall stormwaters, we will be unable to assure the health of the Everglades or our southeastern counties' low-lying populations.
