Vote for Garland in protest, not for Gorsuch
When the time comes to vote on Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Democratic senators on the Senate Judiciary Committee and in the Senate at large must register their resistance by vocally casting their votes for Merrick Garland, Obama's nominee, as their choice.
Why is this important?
The Constitution suffers when politicians refuse to do their constitutional duties. We are all going to be affected by the treachery of Senate Republicans in not putting Merrick Garland to a vote last year. Garland's name, to my knowledge, has never been withdrawn from consideration, so why not vote for him as a protest?
