The Extreme Risk Protection Order and Violence Protection Act will help keep firearms out the hands of those who pose a danger to themselves and others. Extreme Risk or “Red Flag” laws have been proven to prevent gun violence including mass shootings and suicides in states where they have been passed. Senate Bill 7 is a first step in ending gun violence and protecting lives.
