Voter Education
Require a high school diploma as minimum requirement for voter registration. Put in place a voter registration exam for those not holding a high school diploma.
Why is this important?
Due to the total absence of honesty or accountability during candidate speeches, uneducated voters are basing their vote on television adds, and "journalists" rants. It seems to me that a simple short "voter exam" (similar to the California drivers' license exam) with questions concerning political history and basic American civics would at least alert some people to the facts of American politics. "Studying" for the exam would enlighten the uneducated and the often duped, and perhaps keep politicians accountable for their unbelievably ridiculous "proposals".
