Voter ID cards
There has been no evidence of voter fraud in SC. The requirement for a voter ID card would disenfranchise thousands of people. Even if the ID card is free, the required proof is not, and for many people unavailable. For example: elderly people born at home may never have had a birth certificate.

The Justice Dept. should recognize that this is another form of poll tax it's target is to disenfranchise minorities, the elderly and students.
