Voters Against Initiatives

The founders of the United States believed in representative government and set that out in the Constitution. They did not opt for direct democracy via legislation by ballot, but included checks and balances. Therefore, this petition would make it harder to place amendments and laws on the ballot for voters' decisions.

Why is this important?

Makng it more difficult to place initiatives and constitutional amendments on the ballot.
