Voting Rights Act Restored

The Voting Rights Act was passed to insure that EVERY citizen has clear access to his/her Constitutional right to vote. By reversing VRA limits recently imposed, we will honor our responsibility to Americans who choose to vote: their right to vote.

Why is this important?

Voting Rights Act (1965) erased discrimination against disenfranchised Americans, poor and minority citizens, elderly and others. The latest legal road block to equality returns us to a time when citizens were prevented from casting their votes. We should not allow these limits, and push to revive the Voting Rights Act.
