It is my belief that the Utility Commissioners in WA State need to be elected to their positions by the voters & not appointed by the Governor.
Why is this important?
The Utility commission is a group of folks that are appointed by the Governor in WA State. They are the decision makers on all utility charge increases that every house hold is affected by. They need to be voted in to this position by the voters that pay these increased rates.
