Wall Street Transaction Tax
We, the undersigned, People, want a small transaction tax on Wall Street stock & other investment vehicles. The funds from these taxes are being requested as perpetual funding to support a higher level of social services to The People. A simple solution to stop the economic stripping of earned benefits and programs for the poor, elderly and disabled. An Executive Order imposing such a tax may be possible.
Why is this important?
This is not a new idea. I am restating a request to resolve some of our Country's inequities and modestly redistribute funds back into our social services. I'm starting this petition because I want The President to see how many of us support such a fair tax.
