Walt Disney World: Please Don't Allow President Trump to Speak at Hall of Presidents
President Donald Trump's election grants him a presence in the Hall of Presidents but do not allow his platform of hate and intolerance a voice in the Magic Kingdom.
Why is this important?
President Donald Trump was elected into the White House by the American people and, therefore, he should be included in the Hall of Presidents when it reopens June 30th. His actions that he has taken during his first week as President have shown, however, that he does not represent the views that Walt Disney World holds dear.
The Walt Disney Company has always been a company that encouraged diversity among its employees and Walt Disney World has been a vacation destination for families all over the world.
The Hall of Presidents is designed to remember what made America great and, despite the red hat, President Donald Trump does not represent that for many Americans.
The issue is not republican or democrat, both George W. Bush and Barack Obama have been controversial figures that have been included in the past without issue. President Donald Trump is different, however, and his presence brings up bitter feelings for many who visit.
He should most certainly be included in the roll call of presidents but do not allow his platform of hate and intolerance to be broadcast in the Magic Kingdom.
