Want Smaller Govt? Stop Politicians Paychecks.

The Republicans are always talking about smaller government and finding ways to save money. Maybe they should start with withholding their own paychecks. In the private business world, if you don't do your job, you get fired -- or at the very least, you don't get paid -- or you accept a sizable pay cut. Most, if not all of them, are rich. They'll hardly miss the money; and look at all the money THE GOVERNMENT will save. When people that run small businesses fall on hard times and they don't want to fire or lay off their employees, they often reduce or suspend their own salaries. Can't the members of this Congress, and the next, do the same thing?
