Washington State has 17 Superdelegates. Half of them pre-pledged their votes to a particular candidate, but still have the option to honor the candidate WA State votes for. Pledge to support the candidate who wins the most delegate votes at the WA State caucus when you attend the Democratic National Convention.
Why is this important?
Democracy is at stake here. Superdelegates should not go against the will of the people in choosing their presidential candidate. If the Superdelegates override the will of the people, it would be a tragedy. Many of WA State's Superdelegates were elected themselves and should place high value on what WA State voters want.
