Water for Waukesha

While the water problem in Flint was man-made, the water in Waukesha is naturally polluted with radon. The Great Lakes Compact members should protect the health of Waukesha residents and allow Lake MIchigan water diversion and reclamation.

Why is this important?

Exposure to radon can cause multiple kinds of cancer; allowing the use of Lake Michigan water to replace radon contaminated water can literally save lives. And the water will be returned to the lake, allowing for no net loss of water from the Lake Michigan watershed.
