Demand the House and Senate take 25% pay cuts immediately, reduce their pensions and medical. Why should they be comfortable when the rest of the citizens are feeling the pinch. And besides, they have done nothing but line their own pockets, while protecting their own special interests.
Why is this important?
Congress should have to suffer just like the population that they are "supposed" to represent. We should demand they take 25% pay cuts, slash their pensions, and limit their medical.... Also, demand that once they retire, there is no double dipping i.e. becoming a Lobbyist and making millions.
