We the undersigned ask the Illinois legislature to create and pass a law that will allow concealed carry of firearms by Illinois citizens.
Why is this important?
Illinois is the last state in the Union to allow its citizens to partake in their Constitutional right to carry a concealed firearm. After the Chicago hand gun ban, violence steadily rose. In several states with concealed carry laws, violent crimes have decreased. Illinois citizens, with the proper training, should be allowed to carry.
