To coincide with the 50th anniversary of the passing of the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution on August 10,1964, this August 10th should be commemorated in the nation's capital and every state capital as the day we finally & properly Welcome Home the Vietnam War Vets.

Why is this important?

I am 62 years old , I did not serve in the military, in fact I actively worked against the Vietnam War, and especially the draft. Unfortunately many of my generation conflated hatred of the war with hatred of the men & women who served. This injustice needs to finally be officially ended, especially at a time when many of these vets are struggling to live a life of dignity
