Why is this important?
Styrofoam is a terrible product for our health and the environment. However it is used ubiquitously because of its practical utility. Styrofoam is recyclable, but few municipalities offer this to their residents. Worse yet, when stained with your favorite take out foods, it cannot be recycled. West Windsor , NJ should join those who recycle styrofoam, or preferably, force it’s restaurants to switch to eco-friendly take-out containers by banning styrofoam containers in restaurants.
