Who is actually receiving the funds that are being raised and/or distributed? It's not the middle-class!
Why is this important?
We vote, pay taxes, pay our bills on time; and because I graduated from graduate program and have a good job, we get denied Federal and local grants. We lost almost everything in Hurricane Sandy and have been paying our mortgage on a house we cannot live in. We have only lived in our home, our first and only, for two years.
