Why do politicians hate trade schools? Is it a class issue?

Are politicians really closing trade schools where mechanics, medical assistants, hairstylists, plummers, and chefs go so that they can keep subsidies pouring into their Ivy League alma maters. With few financial aid dollars available, only trade schools and HBCUs are being targeted for elimination. Tell your elected officials that your barber, hairstylist, electrician, air-condition repairman, and plummer deserves an education too. Stop Congress' class warfare on education.

Why is this important?

Do politicians hate trade schools because their students are blue collar workers?
