We, the People of Los Angeles, need a parking system that helps us care for our families, conduct our daily affairs and run our businesses. We recognize that parking regulations and enforcement are absolutely necessary to a well-managed city environment. But we are not cows on a dairy farm to be milked whenever the City has trouble making fiscal ends meet! Instead of robbing Peter to pay Paul, lets make the punishment fit the crime and cap many parking tickets at $23.
Why is this important?
I'm starting this petition on behalf of myself, my family, my friends, and my community who have all been unjustifiably battered by sky-high parking tickets in Los Angeles, which are set to rise again.
