Withdraw corporate partnership with the Republican National Convention!

Starbucks is one of the largest coffee chains globally, with thousands of stores worldwide, more than 300,000 employees, and more than over 300 MILLION consumers each week. They have a tremendous reach and impact. 

Over the years, Starbucks has come under fire for union busting, poor labor conditions, not allowing stores to decorate for Pride, and most recently for suing their own union in opposition to a Palestinian rights social media post. 

The latest decision to associate itself with the GOP’s convention—of a political party that is notorious for spreading hate and misinformation, and whose nominee has been convicted on 34 felony counts for lying and deceiving the American people in a desperate and unethical grab for power—is reckless and irresponsible. Starbucks is joined by groups like the Heritage Foundation, the architect of Project 2025, a blueprint for dismantling democracy as we know it. And known hate groups like Moms for Liberty are a part of the convention programming. We know the harmful rhetoric and lies that are going to come out of the RNC—and by sponsoring the event, Starbucks is associating its brand with the GOP’s most fringe, extreme, and out-of-touch base.
