Public Radio and Television means that we the public have an equal say in determining our preferences in the content of shows we hear and watch. The idea that a millionaire donor's dislike of a program can actually influence your decisions about what to air is anathema to your principles. I hope that you will not let this happen now or in the future. The term Public will become meaningless.
Why is this important?
There will be no end to censorship if you allow fear of upsetting millionaire donors to interfere with what the majority of your listeners (who also pay for your wonderful programs) want to hear. Please just say no, and stand up for the right thing.
