YARD WASTE ON PETER BAKERS LAND

We the residents in the city of Marengo, Riley Township and neighboring townships, are concerned about this annexation with the special use permit, to allow Peter Baker to have truck loads of yard waste to be stored and decompose on 40 acres. The smell would change, in a large area, the way of life and property values for the residents. The safety of our water is a important concern, as the decomposition would be dangerous in this area with it's sand and gravel soil, a sensitive aquifer. What future do we have of attracting good businesses to Rt. 23 in the present and future? Please sign this petition to help stop this from happening
