We are all beautiful.
Why is this important?
We are creating this petition to help people realize that they are beautiful. It is a simple and powerful message. In each one of us, there exists true beauty.
Too many have fallen prey to the false airbrushed images plastered in so many places such as our grocery stores, pharmacies, and malls.
There is this perverse image of the human body that is free of blemishes, free of skin conditions, free of "fat"—and we wonder why so many in our society are depressed and unsatisfied with their lives. We also forget there are invisible conditions such as autism and asthma.
So instead of commenting on the issue and creating a typical awareness campaign, we decided to showcase each person's beauty in a Full Spectrum Geek program called "You Are Beautiful".
Feel free to email us anonymous photos of yourself for the You Are Beautiful project. This will help everyone, male/female/other, realize that each of us is unique.
The goal is to have a massive collection of different shaped bodies.
We are beautiful. We are normal in an "abnormal" way. We are unique. We will no longer be ashamed of our bodies and let it be a source of exclusion. Be happy, eat healthy, and stay active. True beauty comes from within and being a good person.
