To: Faye Krueger, USFS Regional forester for Idaho & Montana

Your national forest is being traded-away

Please stop a north Idaho national forest supervisor from trading-away 61 square miles of undeveloped national forest land for the same amount of clearcut private industrial forestland. Supervisor Brazell proposes to trade the public land to Western Pacific Timber LLC (a timber/real estate corpopration)

More details about this tragic deal is at: http://stoptheswap.net/

Why is this important?

In the past, when the Western Pacific Timber corporation was granted ownership of public land they developed it for summer homes and/or ranchettes. If this happens you will see "No Trespassing" signs the next time you go fishing, hunting, camping or hiking at your favorite location on what used to be public land.
