A Mother's Cry for Justice

Dear Gov. Kemp
My name is Cynthia Walker and I am the mother of Harold Doby III who was sentenced on 10-6-22. The alleged charges were three felonies and 1 misdemeanor. But no direct evidence was proven to show his innocence. He was sentenced on the First offender acts and was given 25 years probation and to pay $155,000.00 restitution in a year.
On 10-12-2023 his probation was revoked because he didn't pay all the money. So he was sentenced to 45 years in prison. There was also co-defendants in this case not given the same punishment and he was the only one given restitution to pay even for the crime he didn't commit.
My son does not have a criminal background and is always helping out the community by giving back to the people.
He's a father and college graduate of Augusta University.
All I pray is that you take a look into this matter and grant my son clemency or rescind the sentence.
Your response to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Why is this important?
To make sure that everyone is treated equally in Richmond County court system and help my son get justice from the way he was sentenced for the amount of money he had to pay in a year that he couldn't afford to pay ($155,000.00) and was sentenced to 45 years in Prison. But the Co Defendants didn't have any restitution to pay after they committed a crime.
My son does not have a criminal record. And always gives back to the community.
