UFCW Local 1445 Union and its community allies are demanding that Mayflower guarantees the same rights that workers in New York and New Jersey have through a Labor Peace Agreement. Local 1445 and our community demand Mayflower to immediately stop their anti-union agenda and not to interfere with the workers' rights to form their union.
Why is this important?
This guarantees that our workers in our communities are not being treated differently from workers in New York and New Jersey, and can peacefully form their union. As Mayflower continues to be successful, the workers should also see the result of their hard work reflected in their wages, benefits, protections, and working conditions.
