Delete Trump’s Facebook Page
Despite saying it was banning Trump from its platform, Facebook has left Donald Trump’s page up and open for comments, likes and shares. https://www.facebook.com/703654567/posts/10158955046804568/?d=n
His supporters are still commenting, as are those who didn’t support him. It’s as if he was never banned. The comments are divisive, delusional and rife with anger.
Please contact your state representatives and implore them to use the power they have to pressure Facebook into deleting Trump’s page. If the FBI is using it to track down people who may have been at the Capitol riot, the page does not need to be active. Ask your representatives to request Facebook post something like Twitter did saying the account is suspended. Facebook has the ability to forward all the posts to federal investigators.
Mark Zuckerberg and his company bear responsibility for what’s happened to our country, as does Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc. These companies can be dealt with later. But for now, with all the anger that is still raging, Donald Trump’s Facebook account needs to be deleted.
Why is this important?
Trumps supporters can still easily message each other on the platform. Their
Posts continue to divide the country and foment insurrection. Our country’s security, unity and strength as a nation continues to be fractured, with help from President Trump’s active Facebook page.
It’s needs to be suspended immediately.
