Over 70% of USCIS employees are slated to be furloughed in just a few weeks and Congress must act. That would be 13,400 fewer workers processing immigration applications, leading to a huge clog in our legal immigration system and putting thousands of Americans out of work. Our economy and American families, already reeling from COVID-19, can’t take a hit like this.
American businesses, our military, and our economy depend on legal immigration. American businesses and legal immigrants following the rules don’t deserve to be punished because of a lack of funding.
I’m asking you to stand with us by approving emergency funding of the USCIS. You can protect thousands of Americans from furlough and support our businesses, our military, our economy.

That means 13,400 hard-working Americans will be out of work, and legal immigrants helping American businesses and generating millions in revenue will not be able to enter or stay in the U.S.
