update 12/25/2023
My beautiful boy’s death will not be in vain. He gave his life so that others wouldn’t have to go through what myself and his baby sister are. Thank you for every signature on this petition my paper petition and my move on petition. With your help, this road will be fixed!
We made the news again in September! The county is going to be fixing this in the spring even though they’re being assholes about it. One day one of them is going to lose a child and I’m gonna be there to remind them about mine.

Update July 25, 2022
El Paso county department of public works was out on the road surveying the area in question. The engineering division gave a quick update on where we're at and the survey crew was out there this last week doing survey data for elevation purposes. The plan is to do the design in house and then proceed with construction of the engineers plan. This is so amazing how fast it is going. That area of road is going to be fixed. Thank you to everyone who supported my boy and my plight. I love you all! In death my precious son will save lives.

I talked to Kenny Hodges this July 1st morning and he immediately sent the director for El Paso County public works out to check the area of my son's wreck. I also left a message for this individual to which this is his response ❤️
For the first time in 3 months, I am hopeful.
"Miss Marlow, this is Jack Ladley the Director for Elpaso county department of public works. I got your message, I just wanted to let you know that that we are working this. I have done a site visit and I've given the engineering division some instructions. What I'd like to do in the next week or so is to reach out to you and let you know what our plan of action is for that intersection. Of course in the meantime if you want to call, you have my number and I want you to feel free to call at any time but certainly I'll be a be reaching out once I know of what the plan is, what we're capable of doing and then I want to maybe, if you're available one day, meet you out there and kind of talk about what our plan is going to be. I do wish you the best and I look forward to talking to you in the future take care."
At Palmer Park Blvd and Pima Street there are 2 huge, back to back dips/bumps (drainage area) that have caused multiple drivers to lose control and crash.
My 20 year old son was taking his motorcycle for a ride around the block. He rode down a street he is not familiar with and hit two, large, back to back dips which caused him to lose control and crash. Jaedon lost his life as a result. There is a sole witness to this horrific tragedy.
Residents have been complaining about these dips for years. There have been several crashes due to these dips. Now a young life lost. The Colorado DOT/County/City doesn't care, yet our tax money is supposed to go to the fixing of these roads. In March 2021, Colorado was at the top of the list of worst roads in the nation. Jaedon leaves behind his young 12 year old sister who is devastated. Jaedon was an incredibly kind and compassionate young man. He was full of life, managed Rocky Mountain Bee Supply, joined the Air Force and was registered to start college 4 weeks after his death. Jaedon was more responsible than most grown men and was very humble. If you were fortunate enough to meet him, you were most certainly better for it. Jaedon touched so many lives and continues to do do today.
Do not allow these roads to steal another life. Hold the County/City accountable. They should not have "immunity".
