Meals On Wheels and SNAP

There are too many senior citizens and disabled citizens who cannot get out to buy food, let alone have anything delivered. Disabled and seniors living in rural areas, as well as cities, have been hit particularly hard by this outbreak. They need help. Too many disabled citizens are fighting this alone, and they, along with seniors, are going without even the basic necessities.

I am hearing from friends within the disabled community that there is little to no support for them through this. They need help now, not weeks from now, but immediate, tangible help and support. As we fight this together, it is incumbent upon us to ensure that no members of our communities are left behind.
