Monetize Liberia On All Social Platforms

We are calling on Meta (Facebook & Instagram), YouTube, and TikTok to include Liberia in the list of countries eligible for content monetization tools, such as:
- In-stream ads
- Reels bonuses
- TikTok Creator Fund
- YouTube Partner Program
- Stars, Super Thanks, Gifts, and other fan-support tools
Currently, Liberian creators are producing content, building audiences, and contributing to the global digital community — yet we are denied access to the monetization features available to creators in other countries.
We ask that these platforms:
- Recognize Liberia as a growing creative market
- Enable monetization tools for verified Liberian creators
- Allow access to payout systems via mobile money, banks, or global processors (e.g., Payoneer, Visa)
We believe digital equality matters, and creators in all countries — no matter how small — should be given the same tools to grow, earn, and thrive online.
It’s time for platforms to #MonetizeLiberia.
Why is this important?
Liberian creators work hard to produce entertaining, educational, and inspiring content every day just like creators in other countries. But because Liberia is not included in the list of eligible countries for monetization, our creators are locked out of earning opportunities.
This is unfair and discouraging. Many talented young people depend on content creation as a source of income, a platform for expression, and a way to build careers. Without monetization tools, their hard work goes unrewarded.
Enabling monetization for Liberia would:
- Empower young people with digital income
- Reduce unemployment and boost local creativity
- Give Liberians a chance to compete fairly in the global creator economy
It’s not just about money — it’s about equal opportunity, recognition, and growth.
#MonetizeLiberia now.
