I write to you today with great concern regarding the illegal abduction and violation of human rights of Imran Riaz Khan, a well-known YouTuber and journalist in Pakistan. I urgently request your immediate action to investigate this matter thoroughly and ensure the safe release of Imran Riaz Khan.
Imran Riaz Khan has been an influential voice within the Pakistani community, using his platform to shed light on important social, political, and human rights issues. His support for the former Prime Minister Imran Khan Niazi and his dedication to journalism have made him a respected figure among his followers.
Regrettably, it has been over a month since Imran Riaz Khan was allegedly abducted by unidentified individuals. This egregious act not only violates his fundamental rights but also undermines the principles of democracy, freedom of expression, and the rule of law. The prolonged absence of any information about his well-being and whereabouts has caused significant distress to his family, friends, and supporters.
I, along with the undersigned, firmly request the following actions:
1.Launch an Urgent and Thorough Investigation: We implore you to initiate a comprehensive and impartial investigation into the illegal abduction of Imran Riaz Khan. Identify and apprehend the perpetrators responsible for this grave violation of human rights and bring them to justice. It is essential to demonstrate that such acts will not go unpunished in a society that upholds the rule of law.
2.Ensure the Safety and Well-being of Imran Riaz Khan: We urge you to take immediate steps to locate Imran Riaz Khan and ensure his safe release. It is imperative to prioritize his physical and mental well-being during this challenging time.
3.Uphold Human Rights and Freedom of Expression: We call upon you to uphold the principles of human rights and freedom of expression.
