Why is this important?
Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair, is repeatedly failing progressives.
She kept accepting very watered down versions of what progressives called for with Build Back Better and its iterations. And now she has retracted a mere call for negotiations to end the near nuclear war in Ukraine (“Armageddon,” as Biden called it), which the US is continuing with its tremendous funding: over 60% of Americans support immediate negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. Pramila Jayapal is not a progressive, as she’s proven over and over. It’s time for her to resign as Progressive Caucus Chair.
