Preserve the freedom of feral horses in Miller Creek

We urge the Missoula County Commissioners to preserve the freedom of the feral horses who have called Miller Creek home for years in our community.  These horses occupy both city and county land freely and the spirit and enjoyment they provide to residents who are blessed to see them is endless.

These horses have been a natural part of our community and have roamed free until this past month when a few residents have chosen to make it their mission to capture and secure them against their will.

We, the majority who love their freedom and their breathtaking beauty, are asking our Missoula leaders to protect that freedom.

We believe Missoula has always embraced the wildlife of our area and the spaces they inhabit and urge their continued ability to roam as the feral horses they always have been.
