Tell the Senate: Repeal the cuts passed in Trump’s Big Ugly Bill!

The passage of Trump’s Big Ugly Bill was the largest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in American history—giving historic tax breaks to the wealthy and worsening income inequality across the country. As the cost of groceries continues to burden people across the country, millions of people will lose some, or even all, of the food assistance they rely on. From kicking more than 15 million people off their health insurance to cutting nutrition assistance more than ever before, everyday families will be paying the price of Trump and MAGA Republicans’ cowardice and greed. 

This is a shameful grift, and our elected officials need to right this wrong immediately. 

Democrats in the Senate have introduced legislation that would repeal the health care cuts made in Trump’s dangerous tax bill, including extending the ACA premium tax credits and restoring Medicaid coverage for tens of millions of people. But every single member needs to hear from constituents that we expect them to deliver on these repeals—and more—before changes go into effect.
