Save Little Friends Daycare

Please compromise! Little friends’ tuition rate has not been raised in two years, it is time to help Little Friends survive the times. By raising the tuition rate to circumvent the rising inflation rates and the DE mandated minimum wage increase. Let the parents choose and be included in the decision making process. By letting the Parents be the ones to have to make the decision of paying what their child’s education is worth or going else where lessens the impact on the other parties.
Do not close Little Friends daycare, it will greatly impact all parties involved. I would like to see Little Friends and it’s staff to remain gainfully employed for at least the next 50 years or more, like Fairwinds Christian School. Give Little Friends a chance, by closing Little Friends now would be cutting it’s potential short.

Why is this important?
Keep Little Friends open! Closing Little Friends will greatly impact those teachers that are employed there. Causing the teachers to find new jobs in an already difficult and struggling economy. Let the teachers stay in their positions and not loose their jobs. Those women, moms, daughters and wives- that are employed at Little Friends are not there for the money, they have chosen to work there because they love their job and they love the children! Each one deserves the upmost respect as they are irreplaceable. Do not displace the children let them continue to grow and blossom where they were planted. They will be ripped from a loving, caring environment and have to suddenly adjust to a new school. That can be very hard for a child! For the parents- to find a new daycare that you can trust and treats children like Little Friends does is next to impossible. We owe it to our teachers, staff and children to fight for Little Friends Daycare.
How it will be delivered
We will be presenting our signed petition as well as a compromise plan to Fairwinds Baptist Church’s pastor as well as who ever else needs to be included in our fight to keep Little Friends Daycare open. Little Friends Daycare is apart of the Fairwinds Baptist Church family we need to show them our support.
